• Abiquiu Chamber Music Festival is located at the junction of Hwy 84 and Private Rd. 1622, No. 12. (driving time is 1 hr. from Santa Fe, Los Alamos, or Taos). 1. From Espanola take Hwy 84/285 toward Abiquiu: 2. From Santa Fe, you do that by turning LEFT at the INTERSECTION with DANDY BURGER and CROSSING the River. Then, RIGHT turn where it says to "CHAMA" and to "TIERRA AMARILLA". Then another LEFT turn at the intersection with the CONVENTO (Electric Sign) on the Left. 3. From Los Alamos, Take 502 to Rt. 30 across the Reservations. Go STRAIGHT Ahead to the 2nd set of lights/Intersection in Espanola with the CONVENTO (Electric Sign) on your left. Turn LEFT onto Hwy 84 toward CHAMA and ABIQUIU. 4. Coming SOUTH from Taos area, turn RIGHT at the INTERSECTION w/ WALGREEN'S; then another RIGHT at the next intersection (Onate/84). NOTE: Once you are ON Hwy 84 going North toward Chama:  Continue STRAIGHT on Hyw 84 for 15 miles until you PASS the El Rito turnoff (Hwy 554) and continue approx. 2+ miles on Hwy 84: •You will pass FAMILY DOLLAR on your left: •Then you will pass the Old Church Ruins on your right; • At Milemarker 210, Continue to the SECOND DRIVE--Where it says PURPLE ADOBE LAVENDAR FARM-- at the END of the Guardrail on the highway before turning: IMMEDIATELY, turn RIGHT onto PR 1622.  THEN:  1. Follow the drive down until you can BEAR LEFT and cross a CATTLE GUARD . 2. You pass a large, GRAY building on your right; 3.The next property No. 10 (a blue/gray single-wide) has a wooden fence. 4.Immediately AFTER that wood fence: TURN RIGHT and go BETWEEN Two WOODEN Fences onto a long lane. 5. Follow the lane straight ahead to NO. 12: (there is a Brown Garage and then a house with BLUE roof on the left of the lane) The concert Venue is housed in a TALL STEEL, 2-story House on the river. 6. A PARKING ATTENDANT will direct your parking. Please make sure to PARK in the designated “upper” parking on your LEFT after entering the gates. (NOTE: For those who may need assistance with the stairs into the house, pull straight ahead to the “lower” parking adjacent to the house and you will be helped w/ parking your car and with the stairs.) 7. SAFETY FIRST: PLEASE DRIVE CAREFEULLY TO NOT DAMAGE ANY PROPERTY, PEDESTRIANS, GROUNDS, SMALL CHILDREN, ANIMALS OR OTHER VEHICLES. AS YOU ENTER AND EXIT, BE AWARE AND CAREFUL OF OTHER CARS AND OTHER PEDESTRIANS AND RESPECTFUL OF SURROUNDING NEIGHBORS. 8.Coming SOUTH from the village of ABIQUIU, continue on Hwy 84; 2. 2018 Season Highlights

ACMF's 11th season features the WORLD PREMIERE of GARY GACKSTATTER'S Chaco: A Journey of the Spirit written for preeminent artist R. CARLOS NAKAI, Native Flute, and ACMF Ensemble in TWO special performances.  Additional living composers being performed this season are: Ofer Ben-Amots, Peter Garland, Pierre Jalbert, Jeremy Muller, R. Carlos Nakai, Steve Reich, and  Bruce Wolosoff. ACMF also pays a heartfelt musical tribute to the musical life of composer RUTH LOMON (1930-2017) with selected works throughout the season.
